It did, right there. We danced on it, happy to see the back of it. Like from light in Summer we wanted the occasional dark night. This euphoric mood won't last 'til christmas. By mid November the novelty will have worn off and we'll soon be needing to staple the leafs back onto trees and be praying for the sun to stay higher, longer and warmer. But for now...it's the cozyness of autumn and warmth inside.
